    Happy 5 month Birthday Tikva!

The tiny 3 week-old puppy I adopted is 5 months old today! Tikki has grown, she is flourishing, and she is turning from being a devil into a really sweet and very affectionate little girl - although she still has the occasional devilish half hour.

I definitely chose the right puppy!

If I'd known I'd have baked a cake! (Though it wouldn't have turned out quite like the one in Tina's post!)

Wow! That 5 months has flown by. Mind you, I keep telling folks that I've only had Merry for 3 months - but I picked her up on the 10th. of May......

    Happy Birthday Tikva. :113:

I picked up Tikva on Friday 5 June, having first seen her on the Tuesday when they said she was three-weeks-old. Ridiculous really for to be told to collect her at that age, especially as Michal, the Vet who has been coming here firstly for a check-up and ΒΌ worm pill, then for her shots [and to clip her claws last week, plus a check-over, weighing etc] reckons she was not even three-weeks when I first saw her, so has put DOB on her records as 15 May.

Talk about time flying by - I honestly cannot remember who went to the surgery to collect the puppy milk substitute and a tiny bottle [with three tiny teats] when I brought her home. Being a Friday my neighbour would no doubt have already gone so I must have called one of my drivers to get it for me. Not that she would accept the tiny bottle and teats - so I shot across to the macolet and bought a human baby bottle and teats and she was fine with that until I weaned her.

She was so very tiny and I was terrified that I would squish her under my wheels - now she has a habit of putting toys under my chair, plus behind the rear wheels so that they squeak if I reverse over them - I am sure she does it deliberately! :D
