what do yall think who is the faster dog out of these three breeds people tell me the italian greyhound but i dont think so becouse they wher bred to be lady's companions not raceing .....i think the whippet is the faster dog of the three
I've not watched those videos but I'd say greyhounds are faster than whippets. Having much longer legs helps, I imagine... Although fast for their size, I can't imagine an IG's little legs outrunning the bigger boys. Mind you, I bet they are faster than Sneaks...
Min pins were bred from IGs crossed with daxies apparently. I do know mine can outrun most dogs we come across when she is off her lead! She is like a little speeding bullet! No idea which of the 3 is the fastest but I've heard greyhounds are fast but no good at 'distances'. Little Bella will run for up to 10km and still be perky when she gets home (but does sleep for ages after that!) (with my daughter in law I hasten to add - not me!)
