    Food ..ok i,m going to be getting my Irish Wolfhound puppy soon and the food the breeder has him on doesn,t exist here .So is the thing true that IW pups need to be put on a Low protein food ?If so what can you recommend? I was looking at a Nutro leg breed Dog food Chicken brwn rice and Oatmeal. Theprotein is only 21% with a 13% fat .

    I bet you can't wait for your Wolfhound puppy to arrive.
    One of our members is Phil,(@Phil), who has made multiple postings about his lovely IW, Willow, which you might find interesting to read.
    I believe you are right in choosing a low protein food, and I'm sure some advice from giant breed enthusiasts will be along soon.
