Galway County Show - Northern Inuit

We had a great day today at the Galway County Show. It was a very big show with up to 40 in each class. I was so pleased with Sacha she got a 3rd in a very large class. It was lovely to meet Sue and Moon there and great to have more Northern Inuit dogs at a show than just our own. I still haven't managed to sort out my camera and post pics of last weekend show but have taken loads today and promise to post them asap

julie i can honestly say thats one class you couldnt enter as your dogs aint fat enuff lol.
but seriously, it was a lovely day and Moon behaved great letting everyone stroke him outside the ring, but on entering he underwent some kind of transformation into the worlds biggest coward. he refused to let the judge go over him and moved like a big lummox nearly tripping me over at one stage, he's such a git:grin: but i luv him lol.

Forgive me if I am wrong, but aren't County Shows Irelands answer to Englands Companion Dog Shows? Not an Open Show. Open Shows are for Kennel Club Registered Dogs were as a Companion/County Show is for Pedigrees, Crossbreds and Muts.

Not knocking anyone, well done abbie.

All agricultural shows are open to ALL dogs in Ireland whether kennel club registered or not. Many dogs that enter IKC shows and do well also enter the agricultural shows and they are run to a very high standard.
