This is one of mine I will tell you his positives see if you can tell me his negatives, I have purposely shown a non stacked picture. I wont be offended.
He has excellent pigmentation (Black nose/lips/nails/black tip to tail) 0:0 hips, excellent temperament Blood Donor and Therapy Dog, good forward reach and rear drive, good movement at all paces.

From what you've said I can't imagine what negatives he can have:)

From the photo (and I think it is only the angle of the photo) he looks to have no thigh (not sure if that is the right term on a dog) muscle

He`s lovely - but if pushed I`d say he had a rather narrow chest.

eta - thanks for this thread. I hope you will continue it.

The only thing I would say is that maybe his head is too large, but it is hard to tell by the pics.

This is his shoulder placement I will see if I can get a 'thigh' pic, but my dogs are kept lean just muscle/bone no fat.

He looks lovely, ..and also seems a nice dog.
I think temperament and character is very important in GSDs as they bond so closely with people. While I`m not `into` the show scene, I can see the sense of the German way of testing / judging courage, stamina, working ability etc. as well as looks.
OT but ...It`s a shame this isn`t used for more breeds TBH - if a Bulldog or a Basset were required to run a mile as part of the judging, the breeds might be improved.

Hi its the angle of the pic, he is oversize at 70cms (1 of his negatives) but in proportion height to length ratio

is it an obvious negative to experienced GSD people or would one have to look for it? eg, his bite? undershot/overshot :?

    beautiful dog btw:grin:

Hi Liver bird his Dentition is fine, correct bite no missing teeth, apart from what I have said 1 is an hidden fault the other two negatives are visible, but not necessary in the photos I have posted as I wanted to point out photos can be deceiving. Even if I stacked him the faults wouldnt be obvious to the majority of people you would also need to feel him!

His ears are fine the hidden fault is ED hence he was castrated and removed from the gene pool.
    Try and guess the others!

Ok, last guess then before I go insane, something to do with his feet not being the correct shape.
