    Female Dal biting another dog...

My Dalmatian is always very sweet towards other dogs but today while walking around the village we stopped to talk to an owner with a Dobermann as it went to sniff her backend she suddenly lashed out and bit him on the lip she has NEVER does this before why did she react to this certain dog? we met another person with a staffie and that went around her back end and she didn't bat an eyelid I am very confused about this

She might be coming onto season or just finishing her season & will be very choosey who she allows near her rear end.

Might have been the size of the dog.or just not happy about being sniffed without introduction.

yeah maybe because she has been in season loads of times before and she has never been like it I think she probably is holding a grudge against Dobermanns then!
