I have had a cold for weeks. Tough. I also had a major fall outside on Friday. Tough. The aches and screamies are getting worse. Tough. But I will survive. Been napping on and off during the day or on the couch or on my bed, the puppy either in her bed if I am on the couch, of in her crate in my bedroom because I am still waking at sounds thinking it was Pereg having a seizure or no Ziva wanting out or food. I am not used to a puppy like this one. So after a nap this morning, well, I had been up for two hours, came to the computer and could not read the monitor. My bad eye was behaving but my good eye was blurry. So in a panic I telephoned my optician and believe it or not he came to pick me up and take me - and the puppy - to have an eye test. I could have left her in her crate but she is too young to leave. Had a full sight test and B"H every thing OK and I do not need prescription changes. I have some drops for my eyes - Amit thinks that the cold and streaming eyes has caused that eye to be a bit dry. But I could read lower and lower - they use numbers and not letters here - my eye was looked into and nothing wrong, just dry. And then Amit brought me, and Ziva home She has scoffed raw turkey gizzard and some defrosted raw vegetables, been out for a p & p - I am going to put drops in my eyes and hopefully get more sleep. But at least I do not need new prescription lenses.
Glad it is nothing serious Malka. What a super optician you have! Quite an adventure for little Ziva - a sight of the big wide world outside.
Amit really a special guy. His mother, who was my first optician, would be so proud of him. And I love him. Not in a bad way. He is just a big hugger. But can you tell me what optician would come from town, help me up the ramp with my crutches while he held the puppy - somehow get me into his place for my eyes to be checked, then bring me home? Oh. And did not want any money?
