Easiest most efficient way to brush dog's teeth?

    Hello,

I am wondering what is the easiest and most efficient way to brush a dog's teeth? My dog is very well behaved but it is difficult to brush his teeth for the fact I have to open his mouth and move the brush around to do it. Is it really a 2-person job? Thanks!

Dental chew rope, plus brushing is what I do.
With the dental treats he eats them so fast not sure how effective they are with him.(This has a lot to do with his size, so most likely med and smaller dog they would be a lot more effective).

No @LMost Beagles swallow them in whole chunks too!
I brush Ed and Merry's teeth, but I find it easier to use a replacement head for an electric toothbrush. It seems to be easier to manipulate in a smallish mouth than the ones they sell specially for dogs. Those finger brushes are quite good too.
