    Each to their own.....

I've come to the conclusion. When it's late, dark, rainy & muddy. ....a Lab wants a bed, a Wolfhound wants in and a Springer wants out !

Sounds about right, or they could just be being difficult and will all want to go out, but at different times. My house reared Eddie will stand out in the rain - often just gazing into space. Rehomed kennel dog Merry hates getting wet, it's a lightening quick wee and straight back to a warm bed for her.

    It's just 'bed time' lol.

Breagh is so lazy and wants bed ASAP.

Willow is happy to pop out and do her business but come straight back in.

Mij just wants to go back out 24/7 bless him.

It's a good job I'm a rubbish sleeper as I've still got cats and fish to feed lol

It sounds like they all keep you on your toes lol.
If I didn't put mine outside when it's raining close the door and hide and watch them, then they wouldn't go. If they see me at the door they just scratch on it till I let them back in.

Pereg would hold it all day until she was bursting before she would go out in the rain - light rain she did not mind but when it Rains it Rains. Heavily. Luckily there is usually a few breaks of maybe a couple of minutes when she would shoot out and shoot back in.

LO would go out and pee just outside the front door and go no further, unless she was desperate for a poo but her poo place was only a metre or so away [where I now keep my wheelie bin]. Pereg's loo area was at the far end of the bungalow on the other side, although she would pee a bit closer.

I have no idea what Tikva will do but as she will happily go under my shower chair I am hoping she will cope with rain. Not that she is used to "going" out as it has been too hot for her to even go outside - as well as being too hot for me to take her.

My dogs are lucky has we have put up a party gazebo up in garden (left front & back panels off) so it don't matter if its raining as they can still go toilet & not get wet.
