This popped up on my facebook page from dogs trust and i thought well why not so ive emailed and had an email back asking for more info. Lorraine Fisher from the Daily Mail is writing a feature about people who have spent a small fortune on looking after their dog. It's for a warm-hearted look at those of us who treat our dogs like a family member and don't mind paying for the pleasure! So if you have spent thousands on doggy day care, allowing your dog to travel the world with you or on vet treatment – Lorraine would be very interested in hearing from you! Please drop Lorraine an email if this applies to you! lorrainefisher@yahoo.com But loads of people are commenting on it saying no way not for the daily mail and all sorts of stuff about how they will turn it around saying the owners are nuts and stuff like that. I dont read the papers. is the daily mail a bad one? i dont want to take part if there going to make me look a fool or twist my words. also thought ild share incase anybody else wants to get involved
In some circles they are nick-named the Daily Hate Mail I think they are trying to turn things around tho.. so who knows. I would be cautious tho
well i sent an email back with some basic details so will see what if any reply i get. not sure if i count as most of the money i spent has been on insurance its them that forked out the £10k not me
Or the Daily Wail - but they seem to have a "thing" about dogs and it is either 100% for or 100% against - mostly the latter. No inbetween though. They can turn the best thing ever into the worst thing ever, and the readers' comments are frequently enough to make a subject wish the ground could swallow them up.
I have spend thousands on K9 over past 7 years, dread to think to exact figure, but I have spent over thousands pounds on diamond encrusted harness/collars & leads alone, he as toy/treat each time I go shopping, as new harness/leads every week plus new dog coats 5 times a year.
