Just wondering, is anyone else going to miss Dog World as much as I will? OK, the closure is probably down to people like myself reading a second hand hard copy, but I am surprised that the online version has gone too, and of course, a lot of folk will have lost the cost of their subscription. I only managed to catch a few of the DWTV broadcasts, but it was great to be able to view the POTY and the Contest of Champions, and I was looking forward to the ones from the Champ. Shows this Summer. Some great contributors, and provocative articles, I, for one, am going to feel a lot less informed. Oh well, over to Our Dogs - and yes I am going to subscribe - we need to keep this one going.
I must admit I don’t buy but enjoy reading Dog World online, am not a fan of Our Dogs so yes ill miss it.
Didn't know about it till I read your post Carole. I used to get Dog World and Our Dogs, and also Obedience News which became Dog Training Weekly. Used to look forward to that being delivered every week. Now, I occasionally buy a glossy mag from the newsagents, but nothing on a regular basis.
I think there is still a glossy mag with the same name in the US. This was one of our two weekly UK dog newspapers - we're now down to one.
