Why do people go to a clearly signposted Dog beach then complain that they have to share with the Dogs.And why then would the local council change the dog laws banning dogs from the beach during summer. Well looks like I'm off to my first protest rally, could be interesting if we all let our dogs loose.
Can answer the dog ban at beach during summer its because some idiot dog owners let their dogs off & just ignore them, allowing them to run at speed up to other families & snatch food from children, also turning a blind eye when their dog poo's so they don't have to pick it up.
We have a beach like that and still non doggy people come on it, though it is quite confusing where one starts and ends,but haven’t heard of any complaints, lots beaches here are not dog friendly all year and have seasonal restrictions banning dogs. These usually run from Easter Day until 1st October. Some restricted beaches allow dogs in the early morning before 7 or 8 depending and late evening usually after 7.
