    DNA swab tested for breed verification ..

    I have seen a bulldog type litter for sale that comes DNA tested for breed verification .

    Thoughts ..?

    What do you mean by bulldog type Murf? Doesn't it have to be a breed to be verifiable by DNA testing?

    Or is that the point - where they show no pit or any of the banned breeds are present?

    Just thought other breeders may be selling crosses or other types and selling them as ABB's and this breeder is doing everything thing they can to prove what they are selling is a true type..

    I didn't know a DNA test existed for that breed - might be worth checking on the DNA testing sites..

    There is no DNA test to prove a dog's breed-only parentage. A friend of mine got a free test for one of the"labs"that allegedly do these breed proof tests & her BC came back as a Dalmatian cross Terrier ????? Yer rite :shock:

    Yeah I've heard of some funny stories like that. Some people were getting them done of Presa's so they could get them insured.
