    They are lovely the one called Riverport Evie looks very much like my Max lighter in colour than he was though.Sadly he is no longer with us.

    Gorgeous aren't they.
    Funnily enough I've just been on Amazon looking at Australian Shepherd books and using the "look inside" facility. In one of the books it mentioned these German Coolie dogs as one of the Aussies' ancestors, so it would seem they are quite an old breed. Trouble is I can't remember exactly which book I saw it in now!
    Are there any Aussie peeps here who might know more?
