    Cocker's weight range

    8 month working cocker.
Weighed today at 36lbs about 16kg.
Bigger, more leggy than some I've seen.
Fit healthy dog. Plenty exercise .
Is he still within a normal weight range.
He should be about fully grown at this age?

Working cockers can vary as not bred to look like show dogs, so as long as it's happy and healthy I wouldn't worry.

At 8 months my guess would be that he's still got a bit of 'filling out' to do so probably won't get that much taller but will probably get a bit bulkier. :)

My working cocker is 12k and my sister has his brother who is nearer to 15k, both dogs fit and healthy so I think it just varies, my sisters dog is taller than mine so probably that's where the extra is. My show cocker is now 11k and gets the same amount of exercise as the worker but less than half the amount of food, but she just potters everywhere, where the worker runs
