    Chespeake Bay Retrievers, any info?

    they are fabulous swimmers mainly used in the wildfowling areas as they are a big strong dog with webbed feet and can withstand cold tempretures

    Don't let the cuteness fool you, this breed is definitely not one for the new handler. They are dominant and can be a handful if you aren't the pack leader. Great dogs though, something special if you like real challenges. :)

    Indy was a stunning pup and I am sure just as stunning at one-year-old - do all CBRs have light eyes like Indy's?

    Yes, when Chesapeake's are born their eyes are blue, then turn green and finally amber. It's a lovely transformation to watch. It's really interesting to see the changes. They're bluw for about 6 weeks and then turn green like what you see in the pic.
