Your Charlie is as cute as they get. Beagle is my preferred breed. I got my first, Joe, in 2001 from a nearby breeder and he was my companion for almost 13 years. I have his ashes in a little cedar chest with a brass nameplate. I was told that if you ever lost your dog, you would probably never want another. It was just the opposite in my case. In just more than one month, I adopted Pikey from a local shelter and we are best friends. Of course, he can't replace Joe, but it is so comforting to have a Beagle around all the time. You are truly blessed to have your Charlie, a very beautiful Beagle.
I'm really happy for you, I know your new dog can't replace Joe, but for him you are the only one person in his life.
@charliedadog Charlie hasn't really changed a great deal from the puppy photo you posted on Dogsey. It never ceases to amaze me how some puppies are miniatures of their adult selves, and some change out of all recognition. @Johnclick Pikey has such lovely gentle eyes. Have you taken any more photos lately John?
