Although I've been lurking I actually haven't posted anything for a while mainly because I've had visitors! My granddaughter has just gone back to the UK after nearly 3 weeks over here. We had a lovely time together and went off to Poland for a few days - I'll post pictures in another thread when I get a minute. My grandson Callum made a lightening trip at the beginning of October before he went off first to Nepal, then to work his way round Australia for a year! Fortunately the weather was good so we just explored fairly locally! Some photos of out trip to Boldogkovaralja Castle...... The battlements The long walk to the lookout tower And we took the dogs for a walk whilst we were there! Mum we luvz you! to be continued ......
The following day we tried to find another castle which we could see in the distance but after bumping for miles down roads full of potholes we gave up and found a nice place to walk the dogs. Gwylim sniffer dog par excellence! What's this? I can't go any farther! Georgina inspecting the cattle grid - both dogs had to be lifted over it! And finally, our trip to the vet to get their Rabies vaccination. For once Georgina didn't have a complete melt down and hope the ground would swallow her up and the small black hairy creature didn't threaten to murder every dog and human in the waiting room! Thanks for looking.
Glorious pictures Barbara, and such beautiful scenery. Thank you for sharing them with us. The princess and prince look great, and so do you!
