@manydogz - as you have not posted for a while to give us an update on little Rita, I was wondering if you and she are OK. [I hope it is OK to post this here]
Hi Malka...Thanx for asking. Rita is doing very well as long as she gets her meds. She has fallen in love with my friend, Johnny, and has decided to only take food from him. Johnny dotes on her. She's eating twice a day now most days. Has gotten a small amount of her hearing back because the benedryl dries up the fluid in her ears. She still can't hear voices but does hear loud noises and the other dogs barking so now she barks, too. I can't possibly express how pleased I am. As for me.......lots of pain most days, but ya know, I'm gonna live. I do what I can and ignore the rest. How have you and Pereg been doing?
Phew - am I glad to hear from you, and I am so pleased that little Rita is doing well! Pereg has gone over the all-important ten day mark so that is one thing less to worry about for the moment, and as I am sitting here typing I guess I am still alive! Please give little Rita lots of gentle hugs from me. xx
I'll give her as many hugs as she'll let me. Wish I could give you an e-mail address. I check those almost every day. Don't think its allowed on an open forum.
Might have a way. I went to your contact page. At the top right was my name. Clicked on that and opened it. clicked on contact and there was one of my e-mail addresses.
