    Breedia - speed issues?

    Hi Guys,

A couple of you have mentioned issues with posting/speed. Could you give me more details in this thread please?

What browser (and version) are you using?
    Who is your ISP
What broadband connection do you have?
When do you notice speed issues? (Any type of page in particular? Like the forum homepage? or viewing a thread?)

    Thanks!

    sky
    4.32
Issues with posting replies and smilies never load at the first attempt the dog runs around and never brings anything back. I posted a reply to your Who's Archie question and just found it still sitting there unposted and it keeps happening. Slow as f***.

ETA 4attempts to post this reply too

    Thanks Meg.

@Trouble - I am with SKY too, do you know what speed broadband you've got? Are you using the latest firefox?

I'm probably only here briefly lol but I have sky max and it's rubbish lately the speed is as above 4.32 when I tested it. I'm going to change to bt infinity because my son has 32 mbps compared to my rubbishy 4.32. No idea about firefox so i'll try updating it, can't be too old though cos the lappy is newish.

Yeah I would try updating it too - firefox changes quite frequently.

Funny you should say that about Sky - ours has gone crap as well!!!

Surprise surprise, fibre has just been laid here - so I wonder if they just want us to upgrade to that. Nothing would surprise me

Apparently I do have the latest version of firefox as it updates automatically. Well I never knew that.

That's good - it sounds like a network issue then.

Could you try turning your broadband modem off for five minutes and then on again? This usually gives you a fresh IP/connection - that can often sort things out :)

No problems [so far] with posting/speed.

Browser Firefox 27.0.2 [the latest version]

    ISP Bezeq International

Broadband just checked says 15.57 [I actually pay for 10]

But - I have an SSD and not an HDD hard drive and I believe that they are faster?

Google Chrome, just about to install brand new version update.. but have the one right before that.

    ISP: AT&T (I'm American)

Broadband Speed.... ummm IDK! How do you find that?

I have some speed problems here, as well. Sometimes the little animation doggy run thing just keeps moving and the comment never posts. Thing is, it DID post... but never registered on my end so I end up waiting and re-posting by accident.

I have no speed issues on Dogsey or really any other website, though sometimes my computer does hiccup when I am running certain things. I changed my adblocker from ABP to AdGuard... which seems to be helping. Have had no issues since doing that.
