    Breed for me search

Just out of interest as I was bored done a test on line to see what sort of dog would suit me. It asked ped or "hybrid" and I said no preference but the amount of crossbreeds in the results is nothing short of ridiculous. I wonder how many people would get a cross on the back of that. To be fair at least they say to consider all characteristics of both the cross breeds but the amount they note is crazy.

The site was "dog breed info centre"

I had a shot, some of the anwer options seem strange or unclear, e.g. what is a large yard. i.e. how big is big?

I did the search and got three breeds listed.

Giant Schnauzer ( 8) except I said groom no more than once a month  I though that would include beards :-? )

    Standard Poodle (could shave it?)

Native American Indian Dog (maybe they dont get tuggy?)

Good grief. I like mixed breeds a lot and I think they have a place (no doodle hate from me) but some of those really are just taking the mick. Bagle Hound anyone? Taco terrier? Turns out the Dutch Smoushond is an actual breed though, who knew?

I thought the amount of crosses was because they were trying to re-home them though, rather than advertise them from breeders.

Isnt what came across when i looked at the descriptions from doing the breed selector. Has find breeder of x cross, place add for x cross then rehome x cross.

How about a "Wowser" anyone? That's what someone described their dog as recently on a walk in a park (Westie cross Schnauzer apparently).
