Haven't seen it, looks good tho! http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b050d3fx/pets-wild-at-heart-1-playful-creatures
I watch the end part where the dogs were roaming the streets, what got me is why didn't the government in that country insist on having all the street & owned dogs neutered.
Thanks for the link Azz, I'll watch it later. I was at obedience and, like Tina, only caught the end. I was rather amused to see that when the camera dog returned home, the owners appeared to have a Beagle type that had not joined in with the right to roam. There's always one exception to the rule!
I quite enjoyed the mixed humour with some interesting facts, my fave was Disco the budgie, the hamsters, the cats on Cat Island was interesting
Thoroughly enjoyed last nights episode, strange to think that when I was growing up latch key dogs were the norm, was interesting to see how they spent their days and sorted out their differences, the hamsters great escape was brilliant, I was cracking up and bless the cat who adopted the puppy obviously didn’t know what she was letting herself into.
I really enjoyed these two programmes - especially the stunning working line GSD running on the beach in the first programme A bit more about him for any shepherd fans ... https://www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/newsroom/former-police-pup-to-star-in-bbc-documentary/
