Hi All, Would it be possible for Greyhound Owners to put down on this thread where they are located, so that people may see who lives local to them and then perhaps people can arange to meet up. I would like to meet fellow owners and their dogs for walks etc. I will start things off. I live in Cambridge. Andy
I am in Northwich, Cheshire. Can sometimes also be found in Northumberland (visiting inlaws). Would be good to do some walks with others on here. Guinness is generally great with other dogs, but regular socialisation with sensible people who are understanding of a fearful hound would be fantastic.
I'm in Nottinghamshire. Some greyhound groups do organised walks or may appreciate someone organising one, if none of us turn out to be local enough. Greyhound walks have one listed at Royston on 27/11/11
Chorley, Lancashire. We want to socialise Paddy more with other Greys as well. Took him back to the RGT kennels at the weekend for a play.
We lived there when i was a child, my dad was a chauffeur for Nigel Ferranti who had a factory in Bangor. We lived in Water Street. years ago though in 1967, i was born in 1968 so that will tell you how long ago it was lol ! I still have family there in Conwy and Colwyn Bay.
Blimey!! Small world! I know Water Street well! Pity you're not still living there...would love to meet your hounds!!
Nottingham here (Notts/Derby border really) - but quite often found up in Sunderland as well since have a lot of family up there.
