...when young puppies and young children are all of a sudden quiet and you know that they are not asleep but you cannot hear them, then mischief is afoot. Or rather with IT, teeth. I have just spent over half an hour re-stuffing the front of one arm of my recliner and sewing it up. Mind you, I think that Pereg as a puppy sort of had a chew at it and Tikki noticed that maybe I had not re-sewn it properly. Crates are so useful - I had not realised before - so I grabbed her harness, hoisted her up and shut her in her night crate in my bedroom while I re-stuffed a ton of white fluffy stuff into the chair, and, hopefully, sewed it all up securely this time. Oh, I forgot to say that even though I have needle threaders it takes me ages to get them through the needle eye and then the thread through them. Old age, bad sight and useless hands are just like Tikki - a booga! And I thought Pereg was bad enough? SIGH
