Hi, I'm new here and just wanted to touch base with anyone who might be able to help me. I'm bringing home a puppy in two weeks, it was an accidental mating of a friend of a friend, and she just wants them to go to good homes, and as I was looking, I've said I'll take one. They are German Shepherd X Staffordshire Bull Terrier. I met the parents today, and it's the most odd combination! The dad is the biggest GSD I've ever laid eyes on (I've owned this breed previously, so know them well), and the mum is the smallest Staffie I've ever seen! I just wanted to know if anyone knows what the pups are likely to be like size wise as adults (they are medium sized pups now), and whether they will take after dad for typical GSD moulting fur, or mum, with short not so heavy moulting fur. Any pics of this mixture would be fab.
You never can say with crosses like this, they could look exactly like a GSD, exactly like a staff or anywhere inbetween! Chances are they will inherit the GSD coat, or at least some of them will.
