poor Cassie thats so sad I wish the man had waited though, it could well of been a different police man, they may not of taken her away, but i do understand why he did what he did, especially since she had been previosly stolen...i wouldn't of wanted her to feel abandoned again either :-(

OMG...so..what is so different from the story of Cassie and the story of Jade and Shilpa..is it not racisim..in Cassie's case 'typeisim' (i know that's not a word!)..Surely to God, in a country Doctors may have to wear face covers to treat Muslim women we can give an innocent dog a fair trial..this whole thing makes me sick..DDA..i have news for them..in 14y of working as a Vet Nurse i have been bitten most times by Golden Retrievers..now, are they a DD??? Yet another innocent soul loses its life because of some idiotic law. I will tell you something now, i would flee the country before i would destroy my dogs or anyone would take my dogs.
Tragic horrible story,my heart goes out to these people.Cassie died for no reason other than she may of been TYPE!!! The laws have to be changed and we have to stop BSL before other needless deaths like this occur.
My heart breaks for cassie and her family. I would want to run and hide with my baby before i gave him up. jx

and mean while the scumbags who do have dangerous dogs are keeping their dogs, and i mean drug dealers and the such like. so unfair on decent normal ppl who look after their dogs, my sympathys got to cassies family.
