Hi I am going to visit 10month old Honey tomorrow, she is a crossbreed Labrador/Whippet, i am interest to hear from anyone about this breed, ie temperment, health, anything really as i want to know as much info as possible, we do have another dog a male crossbreed beagle/doberman.
Er crosses aren't breeds & TBH even litter mates from crosses can be totally different in all things. Does the rescue actually know that her parents were a Whippet & a Labrador ?
Hope everything goes well with visiting Honey As with any cross, the traits can be like either parent or a mixture of the two. My advice would be read up on labs and whippets and be prepared to have a dog that could be like either. I've never had a whippet so don't know much about them. I have had labs and there are health problems, epilepsey for one. Good luck with your visit, hope it works out with Honey
