Well everything is now booked for the action photo shoot, we are going to be using a farmer's field as it means The Evil One (Dottie) will be unmuzzled & lead free throughout the photoshoot, I do feel sorry for Rick having to photograph 6 speeding dogs ( just my luck they all will be sitting/standing around & not running about on the day) the agency is still toying with idea of having couple photo's of them dressed as Santa's, elves(gnomes) & reindeers running about. I am hoping to get me & hubby in one of the photo's with all 6 dogs staying by us (fat chance) but we will see, the only problem I will have is which 15 free photo's they want to give me & which ones I will be buying, photo's are from 70p to £1 for prints (6x4, 7x8, 8x10 & 10 x12) & £2 for digital photo on disc, if anything like last time I ended up buying 50 of the £1 photo's (told hubby they were only £25 instead of the £50 they cost me) This will be the last professional photo shoot the 6 will have all together with the modelling agency as I am withdrawing Skye & the hooligans & only leaving K9 on their books, as there are so many JRT's now on the agency books, I have decided to let some of the other JRT's have some modelling/advert bookings, Skye & the hooligans have had 7 & 5 years of being models, the agency does wants to keep K9 on their books so I have signed a contract for another 3 years with them. Will post some of the photo's when I receive them normally 7 to 10 days after payment has cleared.
Sounds fantastic Tina - I look forward to seeing the pics Maybe you could start another thread on 'dog modelling agency' and let us know how you got into it and how others could get into it please?
Can't wait to see the pictures - I love action shots! You're not the only one who doesn't like to burden her husband with the knowledge of what things really cost - mine has no idea how much I paid for Pepe!
I had gone in to Pets at Home to buy a harness for K9 & there was a photo competition being run by the agency, so I entered K9 into competition & after they had taken K9's photo, they told me K9 was everything they were looking for in a puppy to be a dog model & was asked if I would like to put K9's name down to be a dog model, seeing as it was free I said yes & he's been doing modelling jobs for collars/clothes/harnesses & for dog food, plus starring in dog adverts. K9 first agency photo
I am really looking forward to the photographs Tina - I am sure they will be absolutely wonderful! As for K9s first agency photograph, I have only one thing to say... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Drum roll please ............................................... had a brilliant time at photo shoot managed to take few video's of the dogs & hubby took few photo's of the dogs as well, here are few of the photo's that hubby took the professional photo's will be ready in 10 or so days x Me holding Zeus, Dottie & Skye while Rick take photo's of the other 3 dogs Going to treasure this photo of Dottie as she is off lead & un-muzzled K9 & Ziva investigating a rabbit hole Me with Ziva, K9 & Kobi while Rick take photo's of the other 3 dogs
OMG there are 1,745 photo's & 1,000 video's which the modelling agency have sent to me to look at before they are passed on to Butchers, Purina One, Wilko's, Pedigree, Wagg, Bakers [I know but they never ate any Bakers] then there are the 60 plus various dog coats/clothes companies, non of these photo's or video's I be able to keep due to the modelling agency contract deal with the above companies. There are however 119 photo's left for me to choose from, I will have 15 free photo's on a disc, then will have to buy any others I want, prices are as followed : £2 per digital imagine on disc £1 per A4 or 8 X 10 print 70p per 7X 6 print 40p per 5 X 4 print Think I will have all 119 but the hardest part will be choosing which 15 photo's to put on disc & which one's to have as prints
Wow Tina, you will never be short of photo's of your pack. What a job you've got wading through them all though, I find it hard enough if Chas. takes a dozen or so and there are only minor differences between them. I'll be looking out for their pictures in PaH next year.
Well me have watched all of the video's {each video only 5-8 mins long} am looking through photo's now, just wish I could keep some as they are brilliant one shows all 6 dogs running about wearing rain suits {all in one suits have legs & poppers on tum} each dog is wearing a different coloured rain suit, another photo shows K9, Zeus & Ziva jumping over 10 boxes of Butchers foil tin dog food, another picture shows Kobi, Skye & Dottie standing up right behind bags of pedigree vital small bite with their paws resting on top of each bag, these photo's are brilliant but can't keep them or copy them have tried but I do have the 119 photo's I can have to keep to look through yet x
Had a parcel today from Purina One containing 24 packs of their new small dog food there are 4 different flavours, they also sent a few photo's what one of their representative took of K9 & Skye running about Purina one chicken & rice, beef & veg, salmon, turkey & rice each dog as one of flavour Skye speed run K9 speed run K9 & Skye K9 & Skye
All 6 have far too much energy when first off their leads, but after 5 mins of mad running about they calm down, that's the beauty of outside photo shoots the dogs get to burn off their energy, then are calm enough to do the modelling photo's
The Purina one representative took the photo's on his mobile phone, while I was getting Zeus into a super dog outfit, Kobi into bat dog outfit, Ziva into reindeer outfit & Dottie into elf outfit, these photo's of the dogs in their outfits will be with me in next 10 days, both K9 & Skye were in Santa outfits.
YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Jumping for joy my photos have arrived, I got 40 on disc & the other 80 as prints, here are just a few off the disc Me & hubby with Zeus Skye & Dottie Hubby & me with K9, Kobi & Ziva K9 Skye
