    A Day in the Life

    Hi all,

I was wondering if you all could be so kind as to write out what a typical day looks like for your Mal. (Example: 8am wake up, eat, potty; 8-8:30am training; 9-10am walk, etc.)
Thank you so much, in advance!

Oh, and please list your pup's age. :)

    HIya, Everest @ 10-11 months.

6.00 am - wake up, stretch, out for a walk. maybe lasts an hour or so (i reckon i would cover 3 miles or so, sometimes have a little jog at points)
7-8 - milling about in garden/kitchen usually kids get up and do a bit of training but only 10 mins or so, used to eat "breakfast" but last month she has been eating in afternoon a large meal and nothing much else throughout the day.
8 -12 - in crate, usually fast asleep on her back as wife is at work (usually our Nanny was in the house but we knew this wouldnt be forever so have been planning to keep this routine when there will be nobody home.

12- 5 - generally out and about, running in gardens, some training, maybe a short walk if weather is nice and we can manage with childrens nursery/nap timing but not regularly.

5-6 - crate whilst family eat, lately been eating her meal around now too.

6-7 out and about in house, lower floor only.

7-7.30 - crate for bedtime, untrustable in house alone. sometimes will be outside in garden for duration of bedtime, depends how settled she is wherever she is.

7.30-8.30 - same style walk as before, might be a bit shorter/longer depending if its training class night etc.

8.30 - 11ish - out and about in house, kids in bed, very playful about now, lots of squaky ball throwing and squeaky snake tug, usually some training of some kind, interspersed through the evening. depending if she is being a pest or not.....might end up in the kitchen or crate to calm down for 10 mins or so at points.

Generally bed at 11ish, She scratches at the door to go out so we dont schedule potty time as such and in summer the doors are generally just left open.

Lately been leaving a 300g bowl of kibble out which she eats at some point in the afternoon. used to be a 100g 3x daily at "mealtimes" but the big meal seems to be the way things are now.
