Hello all. We are considering adopting 3 year old female pit bull mix from the local animal shelter. My question is is this wise? I don't know her temperament or anything about her except gender and she isn't restricted to go to a home with other dogs. I will either be calling in the morning or may just take a trip there. I know there are a lot of pit bull mixes in the shelters for whatever reason and am wondering if anyone has had an experience with adopting an older pit bull mix (not a puppy)? Thank you so much!
That's a pity .But I'm sure the right dog is out there somewhere waiting for you - and let's hope the right home turns up for the pit bull mix.
