Who in their right minds would go and tell the police that they have an illegal dog they want to register
What a dumb idea, the police seize the type dog untill the court case then decide wether it lives or dies...That's if it survives thestay in police kennels!!! Who would go and tell the police they think their dogs is an illegal breed!!! Also what breeds are these dangerous dogs being kept as pets ? I'v seen dangerous dogs of all breeds. My frinends staff was attacked by a Lab who went on to attack a weimaraner, I'd say that was a dangerous dog. I'v also been bitten and then again came close to being bitten ( saved by my dog ) by gsd's, I'd say they were dangerous too. etc etc etc my list could cover all breeds. It really is sad we label breeds as dangerous when 99.9% are not. If my great great great nan stole an apple, does that make me a thief ?
