She's a street urchin that we found abandoned in the snow in sub-zero temps, so we took her in while trying to find where she belonged, and never could! For this country it's very unlikely she's pure, however from her looks I'm fairly confident she's some sort of hound or hound mix. She's a tri-colour. We think she is about 5 months old now - here she is in January.... And here she is yesterday!.... Many thanks!
Yep deffo got Border in her. Here is my Ben Border Collie x He's crossed with a shepherd of some sort, I think yours maybe crossed with a terrier.
I'm not sure really, she's growing at a similar rate to one of my other dogs who is 28kg, so I'm feeding her on that basis! Her paws are bigger than my other girls were at that age though. She's got a fairly short single coat, slightly fluffy around the back end and on the chest!
Looks like Border Collie to me but with the size of the Paws and the tanish colouring on the legs I am wondering if perhaps part Hamiltonstovare!!!! Just a thought.
Could be Hamiltonstovare, as that is a very popular dog here. As far as I can tell we don't seem to have Border Collie here, or at least I've never seen one! What we do have however, is the Bulgarian Shepherd:
Definitely border collie in there somewhere. She is very lucky you came along - bless you for rescuing her
Ermmmmmmm could it be A Hamiltonstovare/Bulgarian Shepherd plus perhaps something else??? No matter what it is a lovely dog .
Many thanks everyone for the ideas and lovely comments about my girl! I was quite surprised by the BC popularity too!
Have no idea what she is but just wanted to say she is beautiful and really pleased she found a good loving home.
