Hey all! I have a Beagle Harrier,a popular mix in France. I am not sure if it's a pedigree, or a designer breed. I love it. It's taller than a beagle, shorter than a harrier. He's very good looking If anybody knows and/or has a site for more indepth understanding I'd love to know Tobi
Is it possible that it has a pedigree (at leaset in Europe?) I ask beacuse they are popular over there, but in the US nobody has ever heard of them.
He looks very similar to the one I posted, however the face is better looking He's EXTREMELY stubborn, but we love him

Hiya tobi, ive got two beagles, ive studyed dog brreds for a few years now. the beagle harrier is a cross between harries and beagles it was created in the 19th century by a french sportsman he wanted to make the ideal hound to hunt hares, it is extremly rare to have one now hardly ever seen outside of france - lucky you to own one they are adorable!!
sorry forgot to add they are a registered breed with the FCI Federation Cynologique Internationale dont know if you can google it and get more info

I believe our ollie is the same breed, On his so called birth certificate as a beagle but he's definately not. Stands a lot taller and has a longer face but i think he is also a beagle harrier. Is similar to yours?
