if you goggle ..Stormlake , you will see her site, and yes one of her breeding bitches is black.. the one they talk about in this thread.

i have no idea if they are acceptable to breed from.. I am coming from the prospective of the white Boxer.. a Boxer in all aspects, can be registered ,, but not to be shown or bred from.

A simple question, that only needs a simple answer.

    Good idea..

Please let me make it clear . that I have no prejudice against solid colour GSD`s...

All I was asking is whether they are to breed standard , regards breeding them to KC /breed club regulations.

I've been a member here for a while & hardly post, for the reason we are seeing here.
Any mention of a good breeder, trainer, etc soon turns into a witch hunt...goes off topic & ends up like this.
    It's very sad to see.

I originally simply posted to say I know Kate & that she is a lovely caring breeder...she keeps in touch with all her owners & is always there if they need her.
Unlike so many breeders, she actually goes out & about with her Dogs & encourages new owners to do the same.
(how many decent Dogs are ruined by lack of activity & poor socialisation....great hips carrying lots of weight = problems)
I'm not a Stormlake owner, but if I was I think I'd jump to Kates defence too. Not that she need character references to appease anyone.
I've seen other breeders being slated on this forum too...it's not nice at all.
Nobody is perfect, no matter how hard some make themselves out to be.

All threads go off topic to some degree, in fairness to Jackbox she did ask a simple question and all the questions so far have been about the breeder in question or her dogs so i think its all relevant. Nobody's answered if Kate's GSD's are KC reg yet.

Um, I think its gone of thread but thats just my opinion - who ever suggested Kate's GSDs were not KC registered?

But I will tell you something I know very well, her NIDs arent!

borderdawn why don`t you give it a rest, you are living up to your name boring.

Leave people to breed their dogs and to be proud and happy that they breed great dogs, since when were you the dog police telling people what to and what not to breed.
Or have i missed somerthing and you are a top breeder of Border Terriers, if so then stick to terriers.

Sorry you feel it is a witch hunt ..but I did not bring up this breeder.. and I have only asked relervent questions associated tot he breeder

As all those who are advocating her ethics are not doing nothing but closing ranks.

Still no one has answered the question to KC registration.

So the silence tells me they are not!!

It is a simple enough question...does the breeder register her pups and are her dogs registered with the KC??

Not a difficult question, so why the avoidance to answer?

Thank you, the colour question has been answered, shame no one will answer the most obvious.. as they all profess to establish the ethics of the breeder, yet avoid the most basic of questions

For goodness sake, give it a rest! Kate is well respected, yes her GSDs are KC registered and are LONGCOATS and BLACK and of course other colours.

For the avoidance of any doubt, any NIs that Kate has or has bred are not KC registered, I hope that makes sense

That was me, and I was not suggesting they are not.

Well THANK YOU for that.. shame it took so long to answer.

But to be fair , there is no evidence on her site to back it up.

It's not hard to K.C register a litter is it ?
It holds no weight at all imo.
Why does them being K.C registered mean so much to you anyway.

You need to step away from the computer & give real life a go.
