    Got my Rotts pedigree today...

As those of you who read the other thread introducing our new Rottie will know I didnt have much history to go on (rightly or wrongly). It was even suggested he may have been from a BYB. So I thought Id see who can help out with info if poss :)

As a side note, he has turned out to be lovely in the past 3.5wks. Training has been excellent with him comfortable in most commands, very loving with our daughter and enjoys playing with the other dogs. He is still a bit mouthy in play and does not trust strangers. He's put on a good bit of weight, his coat has improved etc etc. The only downside so far is he does NOT travel well, he seems to shut down and drools/foams (ONLY ever in the car). So we have been working on making it a nice non stressful place with feeds taking place and just hanging out in the boot, lol.

    Anyway back to the pedigree..

    --------------------------S: ARMAGRET ITZA ROTTER
    -----------S: DARCGUARD TRADEMARK
    --------------------------D: JAVLADARE LOUISE
    "LAIRD ARRAN"
    --------------------------S: IMONGARD THE HAMMER
    -----------D: MOSSIEBANK BONNIE LASS
    --------------------------D: BONNIELASS OF RAGGITHILL

I Hope it makes sense in the above layout :?
Any info appreciated, certainly an interesting thing to be able to follow it back which I hope google will be instrumental in. When I get time, of course ;-)

A wee pic or 2 from today, sorry not the best quality:

The Darcguard kennel is owned by "Shona" on here, she will be able to help you when she sees this. One of Shona's dogs, "Vinnie" is his father.

I don't understand how the pedigree is laid out, but did spot the Darcguard and thought it sounded familiar.

Don't blush, I'm just not used to seeing many pedigrees of different breeds that all!

I would have thought, it came in the original envelope and all the other bunf like "lost and found" and the ownership change form etc. Really I was happy without it and didnt REALLY expect the last owner to fwd it on, cynical old me.

Easy once you see the original :)

Well tbh, after I replied I thought about it and came to the above question also. It is still excellent to know where he is from but that is only from my pov. I understand your frustration but at this point beleive he is in a better place with us than he was previously and if what I was told is true a much better than his original home! He's a lovely boy that is for sure ;-)
