Lakeland Terriers

Does anyone on here have one? I met one at the weekend and fell head over heels in love!
Please post me some piccies and tell me all about having one as a pet

I have a lakeland terrier



This is Cilla, she has a lot of personality but does not like having the door shut to her.

Cilla is lovely! Show type, Woodstock did you mean the show type or the working type?

Oh she is GORGEOUS!!!! And sounds like a typical terrier!
Borderdawn - not exactly sure. Hadn't come across them before so all new to me! Is there much difference between the show and working types?

OOOH oooh Leadstaffs - I have just seen in your profile you have a Welsh as well! Welsh terriers are my love as far asterriers go. How would you say the Lakeland compares?

I guess it depends more on the individual dog.


I have two Welsh and they are sisters but like chalk and cheese in personality.

I think though Lakelands are more intelligent or more highly strung than Welsh.

Ours causes trouble with the other dogs just for fun.

Cilla is beautiful, I love Lakies and Welshies nearly as much as my beloved 'Dales!

Oh no this is dangerous! Have just seen a little girl lakeland up for rehoming on another site. She is ADORABLE!!!!!!! Am so so so so tempted but really shouldn't take on another
