Tracey - I'm glad the 'silent treatment' worked. Now, if your are VERY silent you could end up with a pack as big as mine! lol

Laura - I don't think this pup is from the litter you are thinking of. Its not the brother to my pup.

Hi all.Swift question, just wondering, do any of you drive your dogs? For fun I mean, not proper husky racing....I'm asking because of the way our Timber pulls. And pulls and pulls and, well, I'm sure you know what I mean...

We are just beginning to take this up with the dogs - doubt they will ever race properly as they would get bored too quickly (or bolt after rabbits). But we are going to be doing it for fun - may be time them round a big field or something (then they can have a lie down!) Will be fun though and they should be good as yes, they do pull!

Best thing for pulling that isn't wanted is not to get them rig pulling cause they'll get stronger at pulling you lol
Try a Dogmatic headcollar, they are amazing and work fantasticly
they will act like your killing them at first (which is when peiople go 'oooo he was so scared) but this is cause they want to keep pulling you arm off! after 15 mins they walk like they are on a piece of cotton! total control and makes walking soooooooooo good!

Mine arn't pulling a rig yet but we have started biking with them using a springer and they are absolutely loving running like that and they just don't seem to get tired either!

It's great cuz they can run and run but yet have to focus on me and what I am doing...

I might get some proper lines and race harness's and stuff and do some bikejoring with them too soon :)

This is Tymber. We have only had him a week, but he is fantastic. I am really impressed with the breed. He is so well behaved and loves our other dogs.

    Note for juliekelham

Please keep adverse comments about breeders OFF the public forum. If you don't recommend a certain breeder then simply say that you wouldn't recommend them.

Regardless of what you think/know about x y or z breeder - they are your personal views and not something WE want to go to court for, so in future please keep them off the forum. This is not the first time it's happened so I'm sorry to say if it happens again your account will be closed.

Whilst I appreciate there may be a lot 'going on' in your breed and how strongly you may feel about it - we cannot as a site host acusations about breeders posted by members, because as well as you, we can get taken to court for it.
