Jayne Abbey is gorgeous, there's only one thing I'd change about her........her colour should be 'red' lol

This is not my ideal Stafford in anyway. I thought you might be interested in these old pics Pete this is Black King the sire of Black Tusker scanned from old photographs. Just thought it may interest you since you mention you like the Black Tusker dog.

Not sure there is a perfect anything, like most things in life when we have something we think is perfect there are usually small things we would like to change or tweak so I cant really say what my perfect dog is because I don’t think it exists. Most important for me is the health & attitude then looks to follow. Its difficult for me to pick out a specific that I like as basically I like to see a well-balanced dog whether he is 12” or 20” is of no relevance as long as he is well put together, balanced and full of spirit. I don’t like to see dogs too exaggerated, not too short in the muzzle or leg and not the really wide head or barrel chest that seems to be favoured today.

As far as KC Staffords go on the website that raga got the pictures from imo the nicest Stafford there is the dog Mason (http://www.cosmos-staffords.co.uk/Male_Staffords/Tarren_s_CH_Mason/tarren_s_ch_mason.html), an absolute cracking example. Nice and fit, in proportion and well balanced nothing too over done and in excellent physical condition. There is another wee dog on there an absolute cracker (http://www.cosmos-staffords.co.uk/Female_Staffords/Laura_s_Cassy/laura_s_cassy.html) one of the nicest I have seen  . lol That was a joke btw

There are lots of Staffords I admire especially from history too many to mention here, some working dogs and some show dogs its all just down to personal preference.

That is a toughy :? ideal stafford, would have to start of with the most outstanding trait of all. PERSONALITY. After that i think its down hill all the way when image is the issue  Sound balanced animal would do me

my perfect stafford is big, broad, powerful, leggy, muscular, has a chiseled head, is bold and friendly, has a wide straight front, a long tail, large expressive eyes and a loving nature. Colour is irellevant if the dog is a good one colour doesnt matter to me, but I must admit to having a prefernce for a blue with nice white blaze and markings, and blue eyes does it for me too! :smt049

I dont think that description fits every type of stafford, certainly there are some which fit the bill for me, but I think what I have described is more like an APBT, which ultimately is my favorite breed of dog and I also believe them to be superior to the stafford in every way :D

Okay sorry about the above to those who are posting on this topic, a moment of madness, back to the subject.

If I were to pick my favourite part of Cassy it would be her head.

I will post what I want - when I like, I do not respond to barked orders. :D

If anyone has a right to tell me to stop posting or to change the content of my posts it will be eraze as its his board.

not sure what you mean by "ulterior motive" my only motive in asking you to post pics was to see your dogs, Id genuinely like to see them, and I also thought it might help to divert the thread away from arguing, (something you seem hell bent on) you have been asked to join in the thread in a positive way several times, by other members, but all you seem to want to do is argue?

I thought you were leaving anyway? :D

:D anne....ill ans that one when finished showing her :D one thing when showing dogs is...you musnt be kennel blind...we all have the best dogs in the world...but none are perfect (in the show ring i mean)i know my dogs faults....but you judge on virtues not faults... :D the main thing id change on abbey...would be id like her a little bigger all over...but thats just to suit my prefrence/type. STAFFY....you said youd like her to be red lol...and there was me thinking the one thing you would change would be her owner... from me to you
