HI there, As promised, I thought I would post some photo's of our weekend in Keswick. We have had a great time, we only took Kayleigh with us - she is now 7 months old, but she had a grea t time and was very well behaved in the pubs on the evening Bilbo and Amber have just come back from the kennels and they are not happy with me, I am evil mummy for not taking them all. The B & B would only allow us to take one, but they have said that she was so good, they would allow Bilbo to come also next time Keswick is very dog friendly and we had a great time. Most of the pubs let dogs in and the walks are great ! Here goes : This was on the shore of Derwent Water Surveying her surroundings !! Bluebell woods !!
Gorgeous pictures of the very lovely Kayleigh. I love this part of Cumbria with its gorgous scenery a great place for dogs. Glad you enjoyed your weekend andthanks for sharing it with us.
She looks as if she had a good holiday, she is such a pretty girl Dog friendly pubs, defo have to look up Keswick in the near future. The scenery looks great as well.
Great pictures. Keswick is a great place although I've not visited for years. I know what you mean about feeling guilty. We took Breagh on holiday last year and put Fingal & Skye into kennels.
Thank you for your replies :0) Keswick is a great place - I think its the most 'dog friendly' place in the Lakes we have been to really. Although the campsite at Brotherswater is great for dogs too :0) Its so nice to take them with us - just feel like a meanie for Bilbo and Amber. We are taking them all to Cornwall with us for a week in August, so I'll make it up them both then !! lol
HI there, Thanks for your lovely replies Ramble - we stayed at The Hazlemere Guest House, on Crossthwaite Road - would definately recommend as only a short walk from Fitz Park so great for doggies toilet trips etc !! The room and breakfast were very nice and the owners loved Kayleigh. Hope this helps
What a pretty girl Kayleigh is! Lovely photos. Looks like you had dry weather too - a bit of a rarity for the lakes
