Hi, I love these threads so heres Dougie. Hes an 8 year old crossbreed from RSPCA - we dont know for sure whats in him but have an idea..... (such a lovely setting - The River Trent (not!)
Well I would guess Dallie X and Staff X. No taken another look and can't see any Staff, so DallieX with may be Lab, may be boxer, yes I'll go for Dallie X with Boxer X
Yeah I think everyones on the same lines.... RSPCA sent him off to us as a Lab x Dally.... but vet said he looks like he has some pointer in him. Other people have guessed Staff or American Bulldog as well - I suppose to explain his muscles as he has quite defined muscles - you cannot make them out well in the pics but he has elongated staffy like legs!!! I see what people mean about the JRT but he is quite big... like a big lab and about 28lbs... he has got a bit 'chumpy' so we are trying to get him back to 25 / 26 lbs... when we got him he was 20lbs and looked underweight to us. RSPCA said he was a good weight but vet disagreed. xxxxxxxxxxxx
Me and him having a cuddle and a beer (just me with the beer!) see..... new camera packaging on sofa!
He has the pointer head and I bet Lab too = people just assume the only spotty dogs are Dals which will be where that came from
HI I would say he has got lab in him somewhere and possibly pointer or dalmation. lovely pics of him Ndidi
Im gonna say hes a Staffie X Pointer. Reasoning: The head to me looks that of a pointer without a doubt. He appears in the picture to be stocky and short (for a pointer) and that smile in the last pic is a staffie all the way There may be something else thrown in there too but Im not sure.
