here are two lovely collie dylan blue merle and willow she is a collie x spaniel (sprollie ) blue merle ,we love them to bits they are lovely dogs

Just some pics of my boys. Actually only one is mine but I would quite happily take both Max (B&W) belongs to me, and Oscar (Black/Tan/White) belongs to my grandad - they were litter mates and turned a year old on 22nd June this year.

what's a merle? and what's the red/blue thing? I thought black and white was just black and white - but what do I know - I'm the proud owner of a black and white sprollie!

alice and dogs she has her lovely blue merle ,this is dylan same boy as above he to is blue merle willow is a blue merle (she may be sprollie ) if not full collie . red merle is the same as the above only with red instead of blue ,they are stunning creatures , once seen never forget

willow is freckled as well she dos have some black

this is bessey typical black and white girl ,she has passed to the bridge ,this girl was CHARMING she really was a lady

Your slighty incorrect in you termalogy

Blue merle has patches and pigmentation which are black. While slate merles are blue patches and blue pigment.Slate is the dilution of black.

when we got willow from the rescue centre she was put down as a blue merle collie x ,but willow is very questionable if i put picture of her back she is very blue merle looking it feels caurse like dylans same coulor ect but you are correct when she faces you from the front she is very speckled if that is the same web site that i looked at the last time we spoke she is in there no doubt as speckles ,she dos have deff some tri and has black white
. we do get asked all the time if she is the same as dylan
