    I noticed that this thread is still taking additions, so I thought I'd stick my older boy Kali in again! He may be 11 now, but I think he's still a fine specimen! Not at all bad for an initial outlay of twenty-five quid!

    I love collies too my uncle has nine at the moment my grandfather just has two now but when he had his farm too he had lost so I grew up around them. I like the look of all of them on here but I have to say Gems I love the look of TJ he is gorgeous.

    He may well get a bit bigger yet, though - I've just measured Snorri-dog from floor to shoulder (Kali ran away from the measuring tape :shock: ). He's 55cm to the shoulder, and he's 7 years old. However, it ought to be remembered that Snorri is an Orkney-bred dog, and Orkney BCs are usually smaller than their mainland UK counterparts, so TJ may acquire another 5 cm or even more when he reaches his "prime". He doesn't look small, Gems, so he may well turn out to be "huge"!

    Alert, clean, shiny, well "tucked up" at the rear - perfect, really - he looks as though he could run and run and run - which is exactly what a BC ought to be able to do. He's a credit to your care, Gems - keep it up, lass!

    hi guys
    i have a blue merle collie she is 11yrs old now named ice .she is from detania breeding her mum wasa blue merle&dad was red&white lovely temperament &pretty she has gone partly deaf so we need to raise our voice when we talk to her or sign to her with our hand.she loves her tennis balls. she used to race with my huskies at rallies in the absa npsd class.a very energetic dog at 11yrs old

    hi rose its so nice to know someone else has a blue merle collie ive seen your girl with your other beautiful dogs she is stunning i have two blue merle litter brothers shiloh and cheyanneanne they are 15mths old now :grin:
