Lizziel your goldie is gorgeous, Dori always looks gorgeous at the start of her walk then see fines some mud and water even in a drought see would find it Munsti-Sue you dog is gorgeous, i love the second pic his ears flying around. I have never heard of a munsterlander before he looks a bit like a springer, do they come from the same family?
Hi Rachel i missed your post some how......... thank you for your kind comments on the Digglet. "tickle" given.
She does look very springery dori-katie! Usually a bit bigger and heavier than a springer. Bodie is 56cm and 25.5kg The Small Munster or Heidewachtel as the breed is also known (as bodie is) originates from german spaniels and is always brown and white or brown schimmel (roan). The large munsterlander takes its lines through the german longhaired pointers. Large Munsters should be black and white, but you still get the odd litter that throws brown/white pups. German Longhairs should always be brown, brown and white or varying degrees ofbrown schimmel. Lovely dogs but the hunt/prey drive in the smalls is emense!
Don't know how I missed this thread. We've got four Goldies Nym Mia (L) & Esther (R) Lola And our honorary Golden - Jaz
What a beautiful black GSP Murphy is, would probably get mistaken for a black lab if he had a tail! Before Flynn's beard started to grow people used to think he was a choc lab even though he was far too skinny and minus a tail! Anyway, here's Flynn, my German Wirehaired Pointer x Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer. As a 12 week old pup trying to make out he wasnt being naughty: As he is today (9 months old): And trying to be a cleverclogs (do dogs have sense of humours?!): I came out of the house to find him sitting happy as larry on top of the kennel! I'd only put the bedding on top to freshen it up a little!
Heres my gun dog Dylan, he is going through a bit of a rebellious phase at the moment but we are working through it. I would like to use him for beating next winter if it all comes together.
Hi Love seeing everyone's pics. Amazingly here is a pic of my 8 month old Goldie, Tess. The little madam won't keep still for a decent picture! Sarah
My happy boy jake, black lab. He thinks he's a lap dog, not a gun dog (on the left) This one I took with my cell phone, so it's tiny. I wish it was bigger because I really like it! He loves having his head out the window
