This is Muppet, my Wheaten terrier. He's 4 yrs old, I got him on the 12-7-10. He's had a bad life so far (been beaten & starved) Even though he's safe now here with me, It's gonna take time to make him realise that. All the photos i try to take have him sitting or lying down, & quite a few of his bum! This is the best photo i've managed to take. He always looks sorry for himself, but maybe he knows it gets him lots of treats when he's at work with me. ;-)
Thank-you. He's supposed to be fluffier than he is, but i had to cut alot of the hair from his legs, belly & coller areas due to all the knots & mats :-( It will take a little while before he looks like he should.
He is gorgeous, Cairn terriers are one of my fav types of terrier. Think i would prefer their coat to my mums white westies, who always come back covered in mud when i take them out on an adventure. lol
Before my Kerry Blue terriers we had Cairns. My family used to have Westies but changed to Cairns as the colour is much more managable! I used to do agility and obedience with my Cairns.
Aww thanks, Harvey loves the dirt and mud too but you dont see it as much on him but still need to give him a good wipe down.
I've just learnt how to post pictures so thought I'd add one of our boy Jonah: http://i911.photobucket.com/albums/ac319/kiwijan22/CIMG0792.jpg
aww how lovely ... i wish i could get my dog to sit still long enough to have some photos taken - i hate having to use his adoption photo!
Lovely picture, he looks so relaxed, handsome boy. Also Milo is so scrummy, what a lovely colour he is.
Ooh-what a lovely photo! Only seen one Wheaten terrier but someone at work has a son who has just bought a pup.
Border pop, I'd like to see more pics of your wheaten pleeeease. I have a wheaten, he's a rescue & probably not an ideal specimin, I had to cut loads of his hair off when i first got him due to all the knots & mats. It'd be nice to see what a wheaten should look like The pictures on the web are never 'right' somehow, (out of focus, in the distance, etc)
