At last, I have made up my mind between a G Retriever or C Spaniel and picked a Golden Retriever pup We got the breeders name through the G Retriever club and they were very nice and helpful. We went down to see the litter last night and picked a male, there were 10 in the litter, all gorgeous, but what hard work that must be! . The timing is perfect, as school will be finished then and I will be off work for 6 wks. I can't wait and just hope Ben gets on well with the pup. I might be on here looking for tips soon as it is 6yrs since I have had a pup in the house

I was calling him Morgan but nobody in the family likes it:-( I am now thinking of Freddie, after Freddie Mercury of Queen . Ben and Freddie has a nice ring to it, don't you think. Another name in the frame is Sam. In another bit of good timing, I have just bought a new digital camera, so there will be plenty of photos We have re-fenced a bit of the garden in preparation, but when I look around the house, tv wires, telephone wires, etc I might actually have to tidy up!!
Brilliant news that is just what we did last year with Dori and Katie with me working in a school and Dunc at Uni it was get to spend the time with them. even though it does seem like a blur now. Can't wait to see pic's
