Hello Jason, welcome to Dogweb. Thats a lovely Rottie there and with a tail too!! I have a Dobe with a tail. Lets see some more pics please.
Hello, i am not argueing but may good owners do buy the Rottweiler for protection i have personaly seen 1 that looked after the owners buisiness in his back garden and to obviously keep the theives out, there are lots more breeds for this but a good Rottweiler is obviously as good as the othet guardian breeds, as long as there fed , exercised, loved and cared for properly i see no wrong in this as long as the owner/s are responsible,
Or does the comments mean that if u only want the dog for guarding purpose, which i agree don't buy a dog solely for protection because the thrive on love and affection
great thread and I agree the bitches are more cunning, eg, my male I have four dogs with bones in the lounge at the moment, holly fancys vinnies bone as it now looks better than hers, she waves botty in his face,. no luck , she finds his fav toy and plays right in front of him, still no luck this will go on for a short time then brain wave, she runs to the door as if someone is there, the males think oops missed that and get up to go and see, she fly back nabbs his bone and whoop job done, my point being the boys will try one or two things then sulk off and forget about it the bitches will come up with thing after thing untill they get what they want,;;;;;;; brains over brawn,,,, the female of the species eh,
