A cousin and her hubby and children are looking to get a yellow lab male puppy, after loosing their old boy Monty some years ago...they, at last, feel ready for another. But want one with Sandylands breeding or at least that breeding in the pups blood somewhere as Monty was of this breeding. Looking for a male yellow pup, preferably in the Midlands..anyone recommend any breeders?
Have you tried Sandlylands Labradors If they haven't got pups they may know of litters sired by their dogs? Becky
My Skye is from a mating of a sandylands dog and stormley bitch. If you need anymore info please pm me
WOW!!!! this brought back some memory's our very first labs Bruce (redfox) and Casey (a Yellow) where both Sandlylands. we had them when i was tiny so a long time ago........
Suitable pup was found. They collect him in about a week and a half. From clear eye tested parents, and very low hip scores, and lots of sandylands breeding Still unamed, but the relatives are as proud as punch..and their chilblains are becoming unbearable as the days draw on.
Indeed he does seem handsome, he has big boots to fill in the shape of his predecessor,Monty. Although it seems he has captured the familys heart already so yes I pity the poor chap, a few hours with Ralph & he will be well and truly corrupted.
Dawn-apparently the litters are outside in heated kennels when they get to six weeks, i have no idea why. Me personally prefer a pup thats more homebred, but they are happy with the breeder and happy with the pup, and thats all thats important. Cockermum-yes, YES he is..he's a loveable rouge lets say Mahooli, thankyou
Unfortunately a lot of labrador puppies, even from the most reputable breeders, are raised outside in heated kennels. Looks like a beautiful little pup though, nice dark pigment too which is nice to see in a yellow
