How horrible :-( Just awful :-(

I cannot imagine what you as a family are going through, it's so sad that things have resorted to this how terribly unfair and to the person who reported you, I hope they can sleep at night with a clear conscience, horrible person they are

I cant believe they are putting responsible dog owners like yourself through such an ordeal. Like has already been said, hopefully they have forgotten and no more will be heard on the matter.

I have read on the echo site today that 86 (not sure if 86 is right but it's definitely in the 80's) have been taken, 9 of which are going through the courts to have their dogs put on the exemption list. That means 77 (or thereabouts) have been or are going to be pts. I wonder how many of those people knew they had the right to challenge the destruction in court?

What a horrible state of affairs.

Dave I can only imagine what you and your family must be going thought. :-(

Hard as it is for you, there is something you can do to help your dog and that is all try to keep calm, any anger and tension you display will be picked up by your dog and this can only make things worse.

In your situation I would try to be as pleasant as possible if anyone comes to assess your dog, animosity of any kind will not help. What you want them to see is a nice family with a quiet well behaved dog.

    I hope all goes well..

Not been on since this am, sorry to hear the police phoned sky high...it is bad enough that you are aware they are coming...let alone having to wait for days for the visit, I think that is totally appalling and my heart goes out to you and your family and of course your dog.
I totally agree with Minis advice though...keep it calm and friendly and happy...your dog will then be the same, try not to let her pick up on any tension.
I wish you all the luck in the world with this and am sending lots of hug to your little ones, what a thing for them to have to go through.

Once again, to get some perspective on the thread. I hope everything turns out ok for Saffie and Blue. Both gorgeous dogs who do not deserve any of this, the same goes for you sky high as saffie's owner. I'm sure Becky, Myself and anybody else who has been involved in this debate in a thread dedicated to supporting you through this time would agree to disagree and support Sky High through the unimaginable situation he is going through at this moment.
