My little boy is losing his plums next tuesday :-( i feel like a terrible mother,he was sat by me when I rang the vet and as soon as he heard the word nutered he went and sat with his dad!!
Aaahhh, poor boy. I'm sure he won't miss them though! I've not been on here for a while, but it's nice to see another patterdale admirer on here.
I LOVE patterdales, what characters they are!!!!!!! my 2 are fab but my little boy has me in histerics.I just hope he doesnt change at all after saying bye bye plums!!!!!
Yeah im sure he will be bombing around again in no time.My little girl is looking sorry for herself too,she not going to be long coming into season,we have put her in her own room away from choc just incase she comes into season before he has the snip.I cant wait till shes had it so she can be done too,i hate seeing her liek this,i have to keep going and sitting with her!!!!
Ossie lost his eight days ago today patterlands, and he is right as rain now,he doesn't even know they have gone (at least he shows no signs of knowing)
Fancy going to sit with his dad,,,must of thought the menfolk need to stick together at a time like this I'm sure he'll be fine.....my Toby lost his plums and i don't think he knew they were gone.
im REALLY hoping that he doesnt notice, ill feel really bad if he notices, when we had our old beagle done (he was nearly 2 tho so he had time to notice they were there)he kept looking at where they were then looking at us all puppy like,im such a sucker choc will be ruined by the end of next week,he will get everything he wants if he lloks at me like that.I just cant resist the puppy face
have you noticed a difference in his behaviour?ppl keep telling me that he will calm down but i dont want him too
Not noticed anything different about him at all.The vet told me that some dogs do calm down, but others wont.Ossie is a typical Staff, full on all the time, and so far his operation has made no difference what so ever.
great i hope choc doesnt change,he mad totally hyper and i wouldn want to change that for the world!!!!!
My 13 month old Bull Terrier had is n**s chopped about 2 weeks before Christmas, he was paying far to much attention to Calla when she was in season. Now we are a few weeks down the line I`ve got to asy it`s virtually stopped that attention but he`s stil as crackers as before.
o dear hope he dont notice i know id have more than a puppy face if it was me lol laura wants rocky to keep his but i dont really know where i stand on this subject. As a man i dont wish it upon anyone to have it chopped off but it may calm him down as he grows up as he may become a bit overpowering for laura
If you don`t wish to breed from him it`d save any hassle of him chasing bitches in season. There are a few health benefits as well but not as many as having a bitch spayed.
thanks everyone, hes been done now and it went well, hes virtually healed already after only 1 week,he hasnt calmed down in the slightest which im pleased with
Bless him patterlands,im sure he will be fine. Its been three weeks now since Ossie lost his plums and he is exactly the same as when he had them, charging about all over the place.
