Hi everyone Im a newbie just looking for a bit of info really just got a gorgeous little girl staffie saw her mum who was a gorgeous brindle, im a little unsure about her dad tho if hes a full staffie i will post a piccy of mum gorgeous pup shay and her dad and see what you guys think. Hope you like her shes gorgeous. Many Thanks Lucy.
the dad has the same markings as my quinn, he looks stafford to me, the pup is beautiful and good luck with him, as long as u love him then it dont matter
hi there he is a staff thru and thru.. he is the same as my staffs dad.. to be honest everyone says about regestered staffs it doesnt matter after all, the only reason they regester staffs is for shows. (my vet told me this) i have a kc reg staff and a non-kc reg staff, it doesnt make a difference for me. my boy is a longer legged staff and it looks like th dog in the picture is too. both of mine are under 16 inches but are very well loved and i can say he is definitly a staff
Don't believe everything your vet tells you! To say they only register Staffs to show them is mad. You register a dog (regardless of breed) so that you can keep track of and have some proof of what breeding the dog is. I would think registration is very important for Staffs at the present time due to the Pitbull scenario going on at the mo. At the end of the day if some "official" knocks on your door and accuses you of having a Pitbull type and you don't have papers to prove otherwise I think you might be in trouble?
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Lovin havin my staff she keeps me on my toes tho i can tell ya!!!. Missys mum your staffie is gorgeous how old is he or she?
What's your pups name? I agree with other comment, don't always believe what your vet says, many of them aren't dog breeders, in fact many probably don't even own a dog! Becky
Her names Shay shes three months old now. Shes a lot of work but shes worth it, just trying to get rid of the puppy nipping at the moment as her teeth are like little needles and can be painful!! Shes geting the hang of it slowly now and only tends to when excited or when shes geting annoyed but i persume most pups grow out of this anyway. It worries me that she does it when she gets annoyed or does'nt get her own way as i dont want her doing this when shes bigger and doe'snt get her own way.:?
